We Always Fight Over Our Auto Insurance Quotes Comparison

My husband and I always wind up having a fight over our auto insurance quotes comparison. It has almost become a semiannual ritual for us when our policies come up for renewal. We both agree that it is always prudent to review our coverage. We want to make sure that we are not overpaying for coverage we do not need, but we likewise do not want to take unnecessary risks in not protecting our cars fully, our own health, or the property or lives of others.

Where we differ is how many quotes we need for a good auto insurance quotes comparison. My husband is of the opinion that you only need three quotes to have done price shopping. Me, on the other hand, I like to get ten, if not more. I hit every online place I can find for quotes and then start calling local agents to boot. He says that is simply too much data to go through and that I am being overly analytical in my approach. He even goes on to say that the savings I generate in my approach is hardly offset by the time that I put into the process.

This time around I at least get to retort that I did my quotes at work while I was getting paid to sit at my desk anyway, so there is no way I am wasting my own personal time doing this.

We always wind up going with more quotes than less, and we always see eye to eye on which one is the cheapest policy. I think the fighting over this is just to make sure we know how to fight, because we actually never fight about anything else. It has been a good marriage.
